1st Grade School Pics

This is Tabatha's Spring Pic taken at school! I am lucky that she likes to get her Picture taken!

Below is her class picture and it really shows in this pic that her Mom is a hairdresser and she is perfect! LOL!!! Tabatha is the pretty one on the front row to the left! Maybe none of the other kido's knew it was picture day! LOL

Spring Break 2009

Tabatha had a BLAST at horse camp on Spring Break! Here she is on Jet the horse that she took a real liking to. She went to horse camp Monday thru Friday from 9am till 530pm everyday. When she would get home at night she would be dirty from head to toe and smell like a horse too! On Tuesday she told me that she was having the "time of her life!" And on Wednesday she got to see a baby goat born! This brought on all kinds of questions about the stork bringing the baby that I had told her about .... I told her he must of have been busy that day and then reassured her that the stork had brought her to me!!!

Tabatha also got to do a barrell pattern on Jet all by herself! She was not happy with the speed that he was walking so if you watch the video below you can see her kicking till he starts trotting!!

Fancy Nancy Sorie

Tabatha has turned 7!!! And we had a Fancy Nancy Sorie to celebrate it!!! This is her Fancy cake and it was hard to cut being it was sooooo pretty! But I did cut it and it was heavenly on the inside!

Here is Tabatha is in her Fancy Get Up!! I curled her hair for the Party!

This is her Best Friend Ally! All of the girls got real Fancy apon arrival! And yes for those of you who were wondering these are the skirts that I made for all of the girls! I also gave them all a feather boa and a ribbon wand as you can see in Ally's picture!

THE FANCY NANCY PARTY GROUP

So as you can see the tutu's got made and the Party was Great! Tabatha got a nintendo ds from us and a lot of great games for it from her friends and family!! I don't think their was much more a fancy little girl could ask for! EXCEPT Maybe a PONY!! But there is always next year (haha) !!

TUTU Mania!

So I have this really great client/friend (Lauren) that made Tabatha a TUTU....And this gave me the great idea to have Taba's 7th birthday be a Fancy Nancy Sorie!! But the tutu also gave me the false idea that I have enough free time to make 8 tutu's for the attending girls of the Sorie.....Let me add up front that it looks easy to make said tutu....and that I did call for the instructions from said friend who also made it sound quite easy......But I guess I did forget to ask just how much tool a tutu takes! Because I have now made several trips to the craft store and I think I now own the desired amount of tutu making supplies but have not found the right amout of time to make them! BUT The party is this SUNDAY so I must make the time....(good thing I work best under pressure!) When I showed Tabatha the tutu that Lauren made she was so excited that she sqeaked and put it on and that is when the endless twirling began! So hopefully all of the girls at the party are just as excited because they are getting their very own! I am having my great friend Janea who is a photographer take the fancy pictures at the party so be looking for my birthday girl post that will be up soon!! Wish me luck!!

Tabatha has lost a tooth! AT LAST!!!

It has finally happened and she is very proud! The

first lost tooth! Finally.... I to am excited because all the fuss about lossing the first one is finally over!! I saw it on Monday just dangling there, and decided that it was time for it to go! So after dinner, I brought Daddy a papertowel and a very scared but ecxited Tabatha and we did it! He yanked it right out!! On the third try she will tell you! Then we got thru the fit about the blood that comes with losing your first tooth! Then we got to take pictures of the missing tooth! She could barely go to sleep because she was soooooooo excited for the tooth fairy to leave her some money!! Tabatha did not even want to put her tooth under her pillow. She decided to leave it on the table so that the toothfairy was sure to find it, and she did find it and left a FIVE DOLLAR bill!! And we all know that 5 dollars means that your rich when you only 6 so she is very very happy!!

Tabatha rides her bike! BY HERSELF!!

Tabatha has grown up again weather I want her to or not! She has learned to ride her bike with NO training wheels!! I am SOOOOOO proud of her! She complained a little about the helment, but in the end she realized that she has to wear it so she did... She is so proud of herself! She has not quite yet mastered the sidewalk but she has the field by the school mastered!! All she wanted to do was ride her bike on Sunday....and let me confirm that although it look sunny the wind was very chilly! Her little hands were cold as ice and yet she refused to come in! Just a little longer she begged! But after a little while I was shaking and I hauled her inside! But promised as soon as we got a warmer day I would bring her back so that she could pratice..




This is her riding her bike! After realizing I was missing all the action I ran to Target and purchased a FLIP VIDEO. If you have not seen one of these yet GOOGLE it because it is the coolest, littlest, best small video camera out there! I quickly charged it and faced the cold again to catch the Big Girl Action!!

Hope everyone is have a great 2009 so far! The Burress Family is! This is Tabatha with her favorite Christmas Present from Santa! His name is SMORE'S and it is a Fur Real Pony... She got so much stuff that it won't even fit in her room! Yes I know she is spoiled! I keep trying to get control of all of these toys but so far they are winning... I have a plan to deal with this toy takeover.... it will be in full force starting monday..(a.k.a. school day) With Taba at school I will be able to weed out the old toys that she never plays with.....without all of the crying and freaking out that goes along with cleaning out her room!! Trust me I have tried to let her help with this grueling task but it always ends in a crying mess!
Brian had a great Xmas as well! I think this time he got everything that he wanted. Everyone had a really great time this year. We had a huge feast with turkey, sweet potatoes and a pecan pie that was scrumptious!! Needless to say my Weight Watchers points were not added on this day. I am sure that I ate all of my points in this one meal... But it's was a special day and I enjoyed it!

But I am also glad that it is all over now I just have to get my tree taken down and put away!
I did not make any New Years resolutions this year... I just want to have a happy, healthy, fun year! Hope everyone is doing great and also having a good start to the year.
